Early folk, gospel, and country pioneers like Hank Williams and the Carter Family shaped Americana, inspiring mid-century legends like Dylan and Raitt, and modern icons like Brandi Carlile.

A Celebration of American Music from Bob Dylan to Bonnie Raitt brings together some of today’s most accomplished and expressive female artists for an exuberant exploration of this expansive and singular American genre.

Featuring vocalists and instrumentalists, Cristina Vane and Brennen Leigh, together they will interpret iconic songs, including “This Land is Your Land” (Woody Guthrie), “This Train” (Sister Rosetta Tharpe), “Just Like a Woman” (Bob Dylan), “Angel From Montgomery” (Bonnie Raitt and John Prine), and “Car Wheels On a Gravel Road” (Lucinda Williams). The event coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States’ founding.

Cristina Vane’s third album, Hear My Call, fuses her unique heritage and decade-long musical journey. Born in Italy and raised across Europe, her sound blends blues, bluegrass, and rock, shaped by inspirations like Rory Block and Blind Willie Johnson. A skilled multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Vane’s dynamic artistry shines through collaborations with icons and acclaim from Rolling Stone and NPR, solidifying her as a standout in roots music.

Brennen Leigh, celebrated songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, blends sharp storytelling with masterful musicianship. Her songs, recorded by Lee Ann Womack and Rodney Crowell, reflect her deep country roots. On her album Ain’t Through Honky Tonkin’ Yet, Leigh delivers heartfelt, vintage-inspired tracks with guests like Marty Stuart and Rodney Crowell, honoring country’s golden era with modern flair.
