Join a moderated Q&A with Chef Monika as she reveals how principles of science, sculpture, painting, and cultural storytelling shape the hyperrealistic cakes that become masterpieces of reality television. Then, put your perception to the test by trying to guess which object is actually cake as one of Monika’s creations sit alongside decoy objects! Participants from across the UCI community are welcome to join.
