About Us
The mission of the Underwater Robotics Project at the University of California, Irvine is to design, build, and operate autonomous underwater robotic systems in the Robosub International Competition while providing students with rigorous, hands-on experience in robotics, autonomy, and engineering systems. The organization aims to advance student education in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering through real-world application, interdisciplinary collaboration. URP @ UCI seeks to foster innovation, technical excellence, teamwork, and professional development while representing UCI in the global robotics community.
