About Us
The mission of Visions for Change is to provide a platform for mentors and mentees to work together in a family-like structure to propose and implement advocacy projects that promote sustainability, student wellness, and positive change for UCI students. Mentors and mentees will have the creative freedom to pitch and develop project ideas to make a change in students' undergraduate experience. Our club prides itself on promoting student wellness and fostering a supportive community where members can develop their interpersonal and professional skills. The skills that mentors and mentees will learn through this program can be applied in all careers, while also giving them the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that they are passionate about. In addition to project development, club members will have the opportunity to participate in professional development workshops, in addition to collaborating and learning from UCI staff and other professionals to gain information regarding ways to enhance the quality of their advocacy projects. Overall, all members of Visions for Change should be working towards addressing short-comings in the UCI undergraduate experience and work towards eliminating these through heart-felt and well-developed community-based projects.
