Happiness Event Week: My World My Way

Happy 2nd Annual Happiness Week UCI!
Join us for an optimism-centered activity where students will put pen to paper and shape how their ideal future would look to elevate their spirits, reduce stress, and foster a sense of community. We will have food, music, and of course, HAPPINESS!
This is a space where students can imagine, draw, and write what a socially-just world looks like to them then placing this on a collective art piece of a CCC sun. The first day (Monday, May 11th) will be a collaborative time in the ASCEED room in the Cross-Cultural Center where students can create and add to the art piece together before the art piece is put up in the space. The rest of the week will be a “free-flowing event,” meaning students come in and out as they please, check in, do the activity, and can leave with a snack after. Students will be able to ground themselves and look towards a positive future through the lens of social justice and name what factors would contribute to a more socially just world and future
