October is National Employment Awareness Month! Join the Disability Cultural Center for a Neurodivergent Career Exploration session! Elise Minkin, the Neurodivergent Career Educator behind the Instagram page @My.moving.mind will be facilitating a session on strategies for finding the right roles and careers for folks who are neurodivergent (ADHD, autistic, anxiety, etc).

About the facilitator:
Elise Minkin is a neurodivergent career educator and nonprofit leader who has Tourette Syndrome and ADHD. In her work with neurodivergent people, Elise brings together her lived experience and over a decade of professional experience helping people access better education and career opportunities. She helped found Merit America, a nonprofit which has supported 20,000+ people in moving from low-wage work into new careers, and previously worked as a consultant at Bain & Company. Today, she works in philanthropy focused on education and economic opportunity while also creating resources to help neurodivergent people navigate work and careers. Elise is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Event is open to everyone, regardless of neurodivergent status. Food will be provided!
