Pi Day Celebration & DUE Showcase

Pi (π) is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, and its digits go on forever—never repeating, never ending. Just like pi, learning, creativity, and opportunity don’t stop at a single answer.

Join us in celebrating Pi Day on Friday, March 13, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. Whether you love math or just love pie, take a break from studying and enjoy the infinite possibilities of college life: trying new things, meeting new people, and having a little fun.

Celebrate with us and enjoy:

• Free pizza and dessert pies

• Prizes in the Pi reciting challenge

• Opportunities to meet DUE departments and discover new resources at UCI

• Games, giveaways, and door prizes

Alumni and UCI supporters will also be joining the celebration at the ANTrepreneur Center.

Pi Reciting Challenge

How many digits of pi can you recite from memory? Enter for a chance to show off your mental acuity and win a mega prize.

Contest details:

• Open to all UCI Undergraduates 
• Entries accepted from 3:30–4:15 p.m.

• Reciting begins at approximately 4:20 p.m.

• Participants will be recorded to verify accuracy

• Winners will be announced at the end of the event
