Starting a new job after graduate school can feel like learning a whole new language. Workplace cultures have unspoken rules, communication styles, and expectations that aren’t always obvious at first. In this interactive workshop, we will explore how to recognize workplace norms, navigate professional dynamics, and build influence without needing a formal leadership title. Participants will practice interpreting real-world workplace signals through scenario simulations, a fun “decode the email” activity, and a culture-mapping exercise designed to help you understand how organizations actually operate. You’ll leave with practical strategies for managing up, building strong professional relationships, and developing the social capital that helps people succeed in modern workplaces.
