9th Annual Intellectual Property Law Career Day

UCI Law is hosting the 9th Annual UCI Law Intellectual Property Law Career Day on Friday, January 23 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the event is to educate UCI Law students about IP law, career opportunities in IP law, and facilitate connections and relationships between the Southern California IP bar and UCI Law students.

This event is designed for all students interested in intellectual property law, regardless of whether the student has a hard science background or not.

The program agenda will be as follows:


3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Plenary panel on careers in IP Law organized by the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association (LAIPLA).
4:00 – 5:30 p.m. | Students will meet and mingle with law firms and organizations in a tabling format in the California Room in the law library.

A reception for IP law firms in the southern California legal community will follow the event from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the California Room. Students who register for and attend IP Career Day are welcome to stay and attend the reception.
