Hello from Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers (LADL)!

Interested in public defense? Daily trial work? Making a difference in underserved communities? Working hand-in-hand with clients desperate for your help and attorneys committed to fighting for justice?

There's no better place than LADL to spend a summer or begin your career post-bar, so come check us out on January 20. We'll be on-campus to discuss our organization with any and all who are interested in joining an organization at the front battlelines of the fight for social justice. LADL is the largest dependency-specific family defense organization in the nation. We recruit 25-40 summer law clerks and (paid) post-bar fellows every year to have the most hands-on trial experience possible. Clerks/fellows receive significant training, social events for the entire class of clerks/fellows, and spend every day working with clients and attorneys in court. LADL has a direct path from our summer law clerk/post-bar fellow program through to permanent employment as a staff attorney. LADL is committed to providing the best experience for our clerks/fellows, and creating the best non-profit attorney organization to be a part of.
