Campus Sustainability Month

In honor of Latinx Heritage Month and Filipinx American History Month, join the Latinx Resource Center and the Office of Campus Organizations & Volunteer Programs in collaboration with the Cross-Cultural Center, College Corps, SACNAS, MEChA, SAFIRE, LSPA, PASS, and Kababayan for Unity through Service: "One down, the struggle continues," a service-learning project where we will have a meaningful conversation about the farm worker's movement after tending to the needs with CRECE Urban Farms at Grace Community Farm. We will be encapsulating the history of both Latine(x) and Pilipino farm worker movements of California and sharing stories to connect how we continue to build solidarity and support today.

Are you looking for ways to get involved with student organizations impacting sustainability? Or are you part of an organization looking for collaborations for sustainability? Join us at the Sustainability Social!

UCI has over 20 registered campus organizations focused on sustainability or improving sustainability for our community. Come talk to folks in these organizations in a relaxed environment and learn about how to get involved. We will have light refreshments to enjoy while chatting. Bring a friend or come prepared to find a new sustaina-buddy :)
