This event encompasses a cooking lesson for students on how to make frybread, which is a cultural dish in many Native tribes. Also known as Indian Tacos, the event will first begin with a small presentation on what the NARRI program is, then move on to a brief safety overview, continuing then with a cooking demonstration. This event is meant to increase Native representation, especially during Native American History month (November), and provide a safe space for Native students to celebrate our culture.
