Campus as a Living Lab 2025 Spring Symposium

Now in its ninth year, UCI’s Campus as a Living Lab (CLL) program is a hybrid seminar and internship experience that offers a unique interdisciplinary opportunity for undergraduates to become sustainability leaders on campus while preparing for the green careers of the future. The program is coordinated in partnership among UCI Biological Sciences, UCI Sustainability Resource Center, and UCI Housing Sustainability.

CLL Interns participate in a three quarter seminar that introduces concepts weekly and applies them to our most pressing environment, social, and economic challenges. Concurrently, each student partners with a UCI department to improve the sustainability of campus operations, systems, and practices through applied projects.

The CLL Symposium allows CLL interns to highlight their sustainability projects and initiatives at their UCI placement sites through a two-hour open forum poster session. 

The event will also feature posters from UCI Bonnie Reiss Leading on Climate Fellows, sustainable student organizations, and UCI Housing's EarthRep Ambassadors. 

Drop in 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and giveaways will be available for all attendees.
