The Middle Eastern Medical Honors Association is dedicated to supporting students on their journey toward careers in medicine and healthcare. While we focus on empowering and celebrating students of Middle Eastern heritage, our organization is open to all UCI students who share an interest in medicine, healthcare, professional development, and community. We strive to ease the challenges of a competitive academic environment by fostering a sense of belonging, building a supportive network of peers, and creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where students can learn, grow, connect, and thrive together.
MEMHA is built to help students turn ambition into action. Through mentorship, professional connections, research and clinical opportunities, service initiatives, academic guidance, and exposure to different healthcare careers, we aim to give members practical resources they can use throughout their pre-health journey.
Our goal is for every member to gain something meaningful from being part of MEMHA, whether that is finding a mentor, discovering a new opportunity, strengthening their application, building confidence in their path, or forming connections with students and professionals who can help them move forward.
