About Us

Our mission at the Hong Kong Student Union is to raise awareness of Hong Kong culture and bring together those interested in it. We are striving to expand our club by hosting cultural events that help our students and club members feel welcome and included. The Hong Kong Student Union at UC Irvine targets our audience to students with a Hong Kong cultural background; however, we are open to anyone interested in learning more about our culture. Since Hong Kong is a relatively small place with a unique culture, we hope to share it with students at UC Irvine.

Members Benefits

General Members: General Members are students who attend HKSU events without purchasing a membership card. They are welcome to join events, receive updates, and participate in the community, subject to event rules and availability. Paid Members: HKSU will offer an optional membership card for $20. The membership card will provide additional benefits, such as discounts on paid HKSU events and HKSU merchandise, member-only deals with our partnered sponsors, and free drinks at events.
