Here are our introduction slides.
Congratulations to Lizbeth for winning our raffle! And thank you to everyone who came to our first meeting. Our executive board and committee chairs got to introduce ourselves, show what PHC is all about, and meet so many new people.
It was great to see everyone mingle and get to know each other. Thank you to everyone who also came out to our 7 Leaves fundraiser!
For those who couldn't make it, but are still interested in joining our club, our membership fee is only would be $15 per year. This money goes toward costs for quarterly social events, PHC scholarship, and our end-of-the-year banquet. Paid members are also eligible for a Kaplan discount on select books and programs.
Week 2
Welcome back PHCers! We hosted a "How to get into scientific literature" presentation, as well as a surprise ice breaker game! Guess what? We threw snowballs to get to know each other.

NEW: Our yearly membership is now only $15. This will be put towards socials and our yearly banquet which paid members can attend at no cost. There will also be an PHC scholarship given to a student at the end of the year with the funds raised. PHC is affiliated with Kaplan which provides members with discounts on select books and programs.

Week 3
Last week our executive board and committee chairs gave some pointers on how to land a spot into a research lab from finding the right lab for you down to how to fill out the paperwork. There was also a Kahoot reviewing week 3's "Introduction to Research Journals" presentation as we first introduced our groups for the quarter in a friendly competition.
